The science of actiglo®
- Lures are available in various patterns and colors but what looks excellent out of box dramatically changes at different water depths because water is a substance 784 times denser than air and acts as a selective color filter causing loss of iridescence, color, contrast, and flash.
- The way light changes under water is responsible for the typical "under water atmosphere" creating challenges for the angler with visual lure performance.
- Actiglo Lures, LLC has engineered patented fishing lure technologies, US 8,091,270, and 9,282,730 Illuminated Fishing Lure, US 9,795,122 and 10,405,530 Illuminated Spinnerbait Lure and 9,675,056 Illuminated Polymer Lenticular Fishing Lures.
- Depending on the type of lure manufactured, Actiglo lures can be made of proprietary floating and sinking polymers optically coupled to a light emitting diode "which cannot be seen", may include edge-glow luminous colorants, customized aluminum reflective and a lenticular lens imprinted with an interlaced bait image that creates an exact replica of the bait fish with respect to its natural color, iridescence, flash, scale and fin patterns while adding a motion effect and a two or three dimensional appearance to the fishing lure not paralleled by any other lure technology known today.
- Actiglo floating and sinking lures; hard bodied, jigs, swimbaits and spoons are engineered to overcome; the loss of sunlight underwater, at any water depth fished, degrading water clarity, adverse weather conditions and fishing during dawn, dusk or night as the visually appealing aspects of other fishing lures are completely lost under these adverse conditions.
